How to use TEMO.1000 electric motor anti-theft kits?
- Battery protection:
The first metal bar is inserted into the through-hole on the motor cover.
This is then locked with the first padlock, making it impossible to remove the battery. -
Locking the motor to the motor mount:
The second level of security concerns the attachment of the motor block to the mounting bracket. A second metal rod passes through the mounting arms (same location as the safety rod), secured by a padlock. The motor is thus held securely in place and cannot be detached without the key. -
Securing the mounting bracket to the boat:
Finally, the third padlock secures the mounting bracket clamping screws to your transom. Once locked, these screws cannot be loosened, making it impossible to remove the mounting bracket from the boat.
